Quest Composite Technology’s Carbon Fiber Bicycle Manufacturing Facility Wins the German Design Award:A Corporate Landmark Defined by Aerodynamic Curves and Distinct Architectural Identity

Quest Group’s carbon-fiber composite bicycle manufacturing facility in Fengyuan District, Taichung, Taiwan, has been awarded the 2024 German Design Award – Excellent Architecture. Presented by the German Design Council, this award is renowned for its rigorous evaluation process and is recognized as a leading international benchmark in architecture and industrial design.

Designed by WZWX Architecture Group, the project draws inspiration for its architectural form from the company’s core products—carbon fiber—and the principles of aerodynamics. The exterior features laminated aluminum panels, floating volumes, and rounded curves, creating a highly distinctive streamlined silhouette. The white metal façade reflects light and shadow to evoke a sense of speed, symbolizing Quest Group’s forward-looking approach to advanced manufacturing and brand identity.

Inside, the architecture continues the themes of precision and cleanliness, forming a high-tech environment for both production and office operations. This space not only enhances workflow efficiency but also embodies Quest Group’s commitment to precision manufacturing, employee well-being, and sustainable corporate governance.

The recognition from the German Design Award represents more than a design honor—it affirms Quest Group’s long-term investment in manufacturing upgrades and the development of world-class operational environments. We believe that good architecture supports good products, and great environments empower great teams.

Quest Group will continue to elevate Taiwan’s industries with a global perspective, showcasing to the world the full potential and possibilities of Taiwan’s composite materials.
