Quest Composite Technology’s Carbon Fiber Bicycle Manufacturing Facility Receives Architecture MasterPrize Honorable Mention:Setting a New Benchmark for Taiwan Manufacturing with LEED Gold Sustainability
The carbon fiber bicycle manufacturing facility developed by Quest Composite Technology in Fengyuan, Taichung, Taiwan, received an Honorable Mention in the Industrial Architecture category of the 2024 Architecture MasterPrize (AMP). As one of the most influential international awards in the architectural field, AMP recognizes outstanding achievements in functionality, sustainability, and spatial quality.
Designed and planned by WZWX Architecture Group, the project was guided by the principles of the LEED Gold green building standard. From material selection and energy management to spatial planning, every decision was made with two primary goals in mind—reducing the carbon footprint of manufacturing and enhancing the working environment. The facility integrates automated systems, hand-crafted processes, and comprehensive quality-inspection mechanisms to ensure superior structural integrity and consistency in carbon fiber bicycle production.
For Quest Group, this factory represents far more than a production site; it is a reflection of the company’s core values—sustainability as the foundation, precision manufacturing as the core, and talent and R&D as the drivers of long-term growth. Over the years, Quest Group has remained deeply rooted in Taiwan, supporting grassroots sports and actively participating in the global supply chain.
The company is committed to showcasing “Made in Taiwan” and high-end craftsmanship to the world. The recognition from AMP marks an important milestone in Quest Group’s efforts to elevate industrial standards and create a sustainable manufacturing environment.
